Knock! Knock! Who’s there? Opportunity, and I want YOU to be an author!
PHPMaster is looking for people to share their experiences, knowledge, and opinions on PHP. If you have something you’d like to share with the world, drop us a line! If you’d like to write but aren’t quite sure where to start, our friendly editorial staff would be happy to offer some guidance.
Awesome! Tell me more.
You want to write? Here’s the details:
- Articles should be between 500 and 1500 words.
- Topics can range from tutorials to editorials, and can be written for beginners to experts.
- Articles are exclusive to PHPMaster and other members of the SitePoint family, and can’t be published elsewhere.
- You’ll be paid for each article and have the opportunity to earn an additional bonus.
What’s the process?
We ask you to pitch your article idea first. The pitch doesn’t have to be anything too formal; the quick gist of what it will cover, what the expected length might be, and what audience you’re targeting is sufficient.
Once the pitch is accepted, write your article and email it to us. You can submit it in whichever format is most convenient for you… Word, OpenOffice, Google Doc, RTF, HTML, or even plain text. We’ll review the article for accuracy and edit it to tighten up any language if necessary, and then send it back for your review.
When everything is set, we’ll load the article up in the content management system and publish it for all to see!
Count me in! Where do I start?
Your writing could reach an audience of 300k budding developers and PHP experts a month, world-wide. Don’t deny the PHP community the chance to hear your voice! Opportunity is knocking, so send me an email today.
